Hey buddy bud buds!! So in the spirit of Throwback Thursday, we decided to take a little trip down memory lane all the way down to the Nairobi Fashion Market. It was suuuuch a fun day!!We got to meet so many interesting people with such a unique take on African fashion. Like the stylish beauty in the picture above, ever spotted someone that looked so stylish and unique you had this feeling that y'all might be related.... like style-related? That's exactly what happened when we spotted her! Sadly we don't remember her name or the name of her blog but if you're reading this and you do, be sure to tell her her fashion sense rules!!
We also met her sister/friend(not quite sure which it was) but whichever it is all we can say is great minds think alike

Now a re-cap of what we wore yes!

Cindy was all about colour and ankara.

Kim on the other hand killed it in a strapless number

We cant forget the lovely Bella of who was also in line with the ankara theme.

And last but definitely not least Wambui, a very talented designer that showcased a number her designs on that day.

Well that's all from us loves.....Time to get back to the present

“I’m going to make everything around me beautiful—that will be my life.”
  -Elsie De Wolfe-
Ever  taken a minute to soak in the very essence of beauty? not necessarily physical beauty but the beauty of life? When you peel away the layers of reality, there is something enchanting and mystical about life-and bohemian style is all about sharing your interpretation of what you find enchanting about life with the world.... through your clothes!

Add a touch of whimsy to your day to day outfits with the help of a few frills and subtle prints.

Funny how wherever you are you can  make your outfit be in sync with nature

We love the bohemian atmosphere surrounding these dresses. So free and comfortable, you want to run through a field of daisies and just laugh your life away.

An important key element in bohemian style is the colors. Typical boho colors are rich and warm in color. So focus on black, brown, lilac, cream white, khaki and olive green as your colour palette.

Never forget to mix it up and add your own spin to any bohemian look you'd like to try. Blend a boho outfit with something that's totally you and 'today'.

                                                                            Thank for stopping by !!

We all know that fashion is cyclical... yet we confess we're longing for some new fashion movements, ideas and controversy in style that will sweep us off our feet and have us all dazed and confused from the  wonder that is " never seen before before fashion & style". Until then we’ll always have the comfortable safe past to look into and take inspiration from.
That being said you've probably notice a certain throwback trend doing rounds on these streets. Yes flared pants are back! Now before you freak out and resist this style flashback, note that the modern version of this '70's classic is more urban than it was back in the day. So push your skinny's aside and let us remind you of the magic that shape brings.
The streamline shape of flared pants is great to give a more proportional look, which gives room for clean lines and give you that longer, leaner look.
Palazzo pants with an eye catching print are perfect for a day spent soaking in the sunshine. They are comfortable and stylish and come in an array of patterns and colours.

Because of their wide leg and light fabric, they're perfect for keeping you cool on hot sunny days.

Whether you're going for a vintage look or you're all about urban style, bell bottom pants for plus size women can work if you pair them with the right tops and shoes. Because bell bottoms are wide at the bottom, wear a body-skimming top, you should stick to shirts that aren't as voluminous.

The easiest way to make a style your own is to add your own unique mix of layers.

So if your scared that you might be turning into a skinny pants addict, test yourself and switch it up with some flare.
