  We all know that fashion is cyclical... yet we confess we're longing for some new fashion movements, ideas and controversy in style that will sweep us off our feet and have us all dazed and confused from the  wonder that is " never seen before before fashion & style". Until then we’ll always have the comfortable safe past to look into and take inspiration from.
      That being said you've probably notice a certain throwback trend doing rounds on these streets. Yes flared pants are back! Now before you freak out and resist this style flashback, note that the modern version of this '70's classic is more urban than it was back in the day. So push your skinny's aside and let us remind you of the magic that shape brings.
      The streamline shape of flared pants is great to give a more proportional look, which gives room for clean lines and give you that longer, leaner look.
    Palazzo pants with an eye catching print are perfect for a day spent soaking in the sunshine. They are comfortable and stylish and come in an array of patterns and colours.

       Because of their wide leg and light fabric, they're perfect for keeping you cool on hot sunny days.

                          

  
     Whether you're going for a vintage look or you're all about urban style, bell bottom pants for plus size women can work if you pair them with the right tops and shoes. Because bell bottoms are wide at the bottom, wear a body-skimming top, you should stick to shirts that aren't as voluminous.

                   The easiest way to make a style your own is to add your own unique mix of layers.

 So if your scared that you might be turning into a skinny pants addict, test yourself and switch it up with some flare.

THE NEW CLASSIC

    "Even if she go away.....even if she go away" from the moment we heard those words, we had no idea about the style journey that awaited us when we watched the Classic Man video. Our lives were NEVER the same again! On the real though, it was like a spell was cast on us. When music and unique fashion combine best believe you're about to be obsessed...... and stay obsessed!
            There's just something about classic style that gives you a sense of elegance and makes you feel distinguished. Needless to say we are addicts of the dapper look. As women it is very easy for us to mix it up with men's wear and get away with it. It's all about execution.

  Women can dress masculine  and still maintain their femininity. Especially if you pick an era like the '70 and just run with it.

             Being fashion curious is all about experimenting and trying out new things and playing around with different eras.

                When going for a classic look keep your Brogues close....and your Bow-Ties closer.

                                                 Simplicity is the key note of all true elegance

COLOUR IN THE CITY

      

       Bonjour! Remember when we were kids and all we had to do was wake up, put on our uniforms and run out the door? Funny how easy and stress free getting ready was. Then we got older and suddenly we had to dress up every single day, create different outfits and stare blankly at our hectic wardrobes trying to figure out how so many clothes equaled nothing to wear! That's when we realized that as much fun as dressing up is... it can be a little challenging sometimes, especially when you hit that creative block! It happens to the best of us.
       So when this happens how about you try taking a deep breath, closing your eyes and imagine you're Michelangelo and your body is the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel...it just might kick start the creativity within ( There's a reason the Sistine chapel ceiling wasn't covered in stick figures)
       You can draw inspiration from the randomest things. Take us for example, we drew inspiration for the outfits in this post from Ketchup and.....wait for it.....Mustard! CONDIMENTS! It doesn't get more random than that.

        After so much black on black, it's nice every now and then to see a little colour in the city.

YING TO MY YANG

         Imagine a 3 year old and a 1 year old meeting on the playground and instantly knowing they were going to be best friends for a really long time(makes no sense right?!) that's how long we've had telepathy LOL! On the real though you may think we just decided to start up a Style blog because of our undying love for Style...okay yes you're right...BUT there's waaaay more to it.. We have so many things in common and Fashion is just a fraction of them.

    Funny story actually,many people who meet us for the first time think we're sisters and we always wondered how cool it would be if we were related.....then we found out we kinda are....(we were shocked too and of course super excited!!!!!!!!!!!!)

     20 years of friendship is no joke. Kim is the kind of person that can tell when I (Cindy) have an idea for a blog post and complete the look before I even finish explaining it to her as if she read my mind and vice versa, telepathy we tell you!!

      Our brainstorming process for coming up with posts is simply a combination of our strong bond as well as our God-given Gift.

  Art is life to us; and blogging is just that much fun since we get to share our passion for art with the world through our style.

   Well Buds we could talk about how our unique friendship plays a huge role in our blog endlessly but this has to be all for now. S/O to all the ride or die best friends out there.
