        Heyyyyy buds! Hope your week's been nothing but fabulous so far. First off let's take a minute to wish the cutest most adorable munchkin in the world, Kimmy, a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Baby girl turns 22 today, so you already know party plans are underway. They grow up so fast don't they(*teardrop) .

        Now back to the business of the day..... ever been a tad bit obsessed with a particular trend? Well for us A-lines skirts/dresses are a bad habit we're not willing to drop any time soon. But honestly can you blame us?!! Our A-line obsession is rooted in the universally flattering, hip-and-thigh disguising shape that lets us have our cake and eat it too. And for that, it will have a place in our closet to infinity and beyond.
 

                      There’s just such a prim, clean-scrubbed vibe to this design in a dress or a skirt.

 The flattering cut cinches at the waist, yet gracefully glides away from the hips and thigh (can we get an amen)

  And what makes it even more versatile is the fact that you can dress it up by throwing on a pair of heels or flats.

     You can spot a mix-master from a mile away.When it comes to risky trends, the art of mixing prints is at the top of the "There's no way I'm pulling this off" List. Good news though, once you master the art of mixing it up, your options for potential outfits in your closet will increase tremendously. Think about it , since we were kids we’ve been practicing the skill of matching, so while it may take some time to build up the courage to start pairing the unexpected, we promise it’s worth the challenge.
       When you choose to go for a look that mixes print and pattern, there's a fine line between playfully unexpected and completely bonkers. Thankfully, you're just a few styling tricks away from mixing and matching prints like a pro.
     From polka dot to plaid, to the printed pieces already in your wardrobe, all you have to do is get your creative juices flowing.

    When mixing prints, the whole is greater than each piece individually so focus on creating a cohesive look.

      Similar colors and palettes will help blend your prints, while still making a statement. If your pieces don’t share a color within their respected prints, similar backgrounds, like brown, maroon, black, blue, or grey, it might seem a little chaotic.

     The most important principle when it comes to a successful print mash-up is being bold and daring but still a tad bit cautious....we wouldn't want you to over do it now would we?

TRIBAL VENDETTA

    Ola buds, time to go native in the tribal print!!So why do we love tribal so much? Where to begin..... First the bright, playful colours make it easy to pair tribal pieces with basics... even a plain white tee! Tribal is also eye-catching, contemporary and just plain cool.  The print is extremely wearable!

     The confrontational thing about prints is we often get into a bind about how to wear them. To get out of this rut .... Keep it simple. Prints on prints can be too much with such a bold design like Aztec. Mix either with a mono colour or simple lines and your on to a winner.Wondering what we mean by this? Well Kimberly styled a tribal print shirt dress and a pair of blue pants to make sure the print on the top stood out.

    Fit is important. Bold prints aren’t always the best at flattering the body, so make sure wherever you wear them, that piece fits perfectly and shows off your shape. If the fit is loose pair it with something fitting like Cindy did in this tribal Kimono and JumpSuit
